Asset Management
• Job Type: Full Time

Job Functions
• Determine customers’ financial services needs and prepare proposals to sell services that address these needs
• Gather customer or product information to determine customer’s needs; develop proposals for current or prospective clients
• Good negotiating skills and ability to close deals
• Ability to set and maintain high standards of professionalism, work ethics and team spirit; contact customers to present information and explain available services
• Has a desire to learn and develop within the sales and marketing industry
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in rules and regulations governing capital market activities and operational manuals for the Unit
• Build alliances via networking actively in the local business circuit and develop relationships to sniff out opportunities and escalate same to senior management for follow-up.
• Coach and develop support staff and delegate work effectively to bridge knowledge gap in the Unit
• Contribute to the overall profitability by ensuring the companies in the group are adequately and efficiently funded at all times
• Adequate supervision of the support unit ensuring that they provide good support to the system and meets their deliverables as scheduled.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Other Skills
• Requires a detail orientated individual who can be a part of a team and demonstrates strong organizational skills and follow through skills. Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Good working relationship with other unit and business partners (PFAs and banks)
• High attention to detail, self-starter, efficient time management, critical thinker, inquisitive, flexible, and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS-Excel, MS-Word, and other MS-Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements
• BSc or HND in marketing or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 – 3 years working experience
• High attention to detail; Strong analytical skills
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills: Excel
• Detailed experience in sales and marketing preferably within financial sector
• Wide ranging sector knowledge and professional contacts
